Ruby Rose’s father is a suspect in a murder on the college campus.  The victim was a professor in the science department and he was poisoned.  ruby and her best friend, Rex, gather information to defend Ruby’s father by sneaking around campus and hacking into computers.  They also befriend a retired toxicologist from the forensics department to help them interpret the information they find.  After a harry overnight adventure, Ruby and Rex find the murderer and her father is given back is job on campus.   

I laughed out loud sometimes, but for the most part the dialogue between characters sounded like incomplete sentences.  Also the setting wasn’t established enough, so when they are almost caught in a neighborhood fight, it was confusing what was going on.  MS-OPTIONAL.  Reviewer, C. Peterson.
