Nan hit bottom
with what she and herfriends nicknamed the Nanapocalypse. She’s a changed person
that doesn’t drink or do drugs anymore, but when Nan wakes up the day after
Halloween in a subway car and doesn’t know how she got there she finds the last
twenty-four hours a mystery that she can’t unravel. The deeper she digs, the more she
wishes she didn’t find out and perhaps has not only gone back to her old ways, but may
have gone too far.
This book was intense and a fairly quick and easy read. Vrettos
has a knack for displaying the ills of teenage peer pressure and how destructive so-called friends can be.
