12to Bryan has no desire to be on the school ski trip, but his crush Danielle is going, so off he goes. What he and the others don’t know is that Spoon SLopes, already a pretty crummy “resort” area, is also plagued by a deadly beast that is about to wake up and be VERY hungry.
Strand puts the couple of adults in the book out of commission pretty quickly, so the kids have a chance to step up and shine as they do (or do not) step up to help each other.
