This is a book about a family who goes to a have a day at
the beach. There is playing, swimming, watching boats, a picnic lunch, and
more. Lovingly illustrated with fun and warm illustrations.
The rhyming scheme in the book is wonderfully crafted. Other than the part where children get covered in sunblock, this book depicts everything you could possibly want to do at the beach. I wish I had a beach days like this growing up! Children will love to spot and point to the little details in this book and at the end it includes some items to search for. Not sure why a 2001 book was still up for review, it doesn’t say anywhere on it that it’s a re-release.
