This story book is an illustration of the song It’s Raining, It’s Pouring by Peter, Paul and Mary.  The grandpa in the book bumps his head and is sent to bed.  His little granddaughter crawls in bed next to him and starts reading nursery rhymes to him.  The little girl and the grandpa become part of the nursery rhymes.  The other grandchildren are running around the house playing hide and seek.  In the end, all the children end up in grandpa’s room.  

I thought the illustrations were great, but the story was very confusing.  There is just too much going on.  Every other page is the kids playing hide and seek, mixed with the grandpa and the granddaughter reading the nursery rhymes.  It’s hard to follow any storyline and I think kids would get confused.  This book includes a 3-song CD.
