Mortensen is a secret
agent who tries to right what goes wrong with time travel. When he is shown a manuscript
from 1512 depicting an airplane, he has found his next mission. Mortensen must travel back in time in Scotland, where he meets a scribe and a
mute witch, and oh ya, loses his time gun. Oops.
This was fun
short graphic novel. As a librarian my favorite part was the ties to history,
maps, and details at the end of the book about various historical tidbits like
Illuminated Manuscripts. I think students will be intrigued by the time travel,
the learning components will be an accidental bonus.
ELEMENTARY –ADVISABLE
