Meyer, Marissa Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles 2), 464 p. Feiwel,
FEBRUARY 2013. $18. Content: G (2 swears, mild violence).
Scarlet’s grandmother has disappeared
and no one seems to care except for Scarlet. When Scarlet meets Wolf, a stone-hard street fighter, she
may have found an ally in her search. Or she may have found someone who will
betray her right into the hands of the Lunar Queen’s thaumaturges and their
genetically altered armies. If
Cinder doesn’t escape her high-tech prison, the Lunar Queen will have her
executed. With a little help from
her new robotic parts and a fellow prisoner, who happens to have a ship, she
may have a chance to unravel the mystery of her life. Should the two groups meet, they may have enough wits and
bravery to save the world.
Bravo
Marissa Meyer. I think it make a huge difference if you know where you want
your series to go before the 1st becomes a best seller. You can tell that this is not a sloppy
2nd. I can’t believe I have to
wait until 2014 for the 3rd – and then another year for the 4th –well worth the
wait!
