After being at home for awhile, Jason decides that he must return to Lyrian – even if it means going through that hippo again. Maldor’s power has increased steadily. There is only a small chance that Jason can reunite with Rachel, Galloran, Ferrin and a few others and convince the few remaining free peoples to support them in starting a rebellion – a very small chance. As the group flees across the world, there will never be a chance to relax; they must forge new alliances and convince a cowed and reluctant people that they might have a chance.
Did you see that I mentioned zombies. Cool! I talked to Brandon Mull lately at a book signing and he said there will definitely only be three books in the series. I am very disappointed, because I enjoyed these even more than the Fablehaven books!
