In the sequel to Dairy Queen DJ is still growing up. She has started in the eleventh grade, and things are going well. She has gotten on the football team, is starting to talk to her best friend again and even has a football boyfriend. Then things start to unravel in all areas of her life. Her brother's life is put on jeopardy, Brian doesn't seem to want to talk to her anymore and she is going to have to choose between football and basketball. Everything is turned upside-down as she tries to find out how strong she really is.

Please read Dairy Queen first because it is the prequel, duh. Then you will fall in love with this one. I loved it because not everything turned out magically happy and all her dreams came true. It was how life really is and how not everything always works out perfectly.
