Voorhees, Coert The Brothers Torres. 316 Pages. Hyperion.
Language - R; Sexual Content - PG-13; Violence - PG.
HS - NO
Francisco Torres is your average teenage guy. He has the older brother that overshadows his accomplishments, works at the family business, and is obsessed with that hot girl he's known for his whole life. This is a story of life from the view of that typical teenaged boy that has to become comfortable with himself and who he is, despite the altercations that arise.
It didn't take me more than 50 pages to realize what this book would be about. It was amusing; however, delving into the male mind still makes me twitch. So, despite the value of the story, for language alone, I have to keep it from the school library shelves.
