MS, HS - ADVISABLE
Ryan wants to be at Wrigley Field more than anything because that's where she feels closest to her dad. However, on this day of skipping class, she finds a new friend, Nick, who shares her passion for the Cubs. They become friends, but he has a secret that makes her wonder if they really can "Wait till next year." Ryan needs to find hope and possibly have her comeback season. The analogy of baseball worked very well in this book, however it got a little boring sometimes. It shows the difference one person can make on another's life.
