This is a short biography about President
Theodore Roosevelt. When Teddy was
little he liked reading about great men and he loved studying animals. As he got older he loved to go on adventures. He married and had kids. He was involved
in politics and became President after the assassination of President McKinley. President Roosevelt helped conserve a lot of
our national parks.
This is a good
overview of President Roosevelt’s life touching on the main events of his
life. There are quotes from Roosevelt
mixed in throughout. There are great
illustrations and inspiring quotes encouraging people to go out and enjoy life. This isn’t a comprehensive telling of his
life, but it’s a great introduction for beginning readers.
