Kylene left her home town two years ago over “Boob-gate”,
her nickname for when someone took a picture of her topless while she was unconscious,
but now that her FBI father has been incarcerated for killing a cop, Kylene has
to go back home and live with her grandfather.
Two major mysteries run throughout the book, who took indecent pictures
of her and posted them on social media, and who is framing her father for
murder. Kylene has two best friends and
an unexpected ally in a new FBI agent who help her uncover the facts.
I couldn’t put this book down. Kylene is spunky and pushes the limits and I
love the minor characters. If you like Veronica
Mars, then you will enjoy this read as well. The swear count is high and there is physical abuse as well as
beatings and attempted murder making the buying advisory optional.
