Rocky is a cute little rock who wants
to be important like a lot of his rock star relatives. He travels around the world to visit his
family in an attempt to find an important role, but while traveling parts of
his rock breaks off. When he gets to
Mount Rushmore and hears that President Lincoln’s nose has a crack in it, he
decides that’s where he is needed and fills the crack.
The illustrations in this book are
adorable. Rocky is cute and the quick
introduction to major rock formations around the world is fun. At the back of the book, there is a list of
all the rock formations from the book and some facts about rocks.
