DeKeyser, Stacy The Brixen Witch, 196 pgs. Margaret K.
McElderry Books, 2012. Content: G.
Rudi didn't think that one coin carelessly put in his
pocket after being found on the mountain would be any trouble, but that was
before he knew it belonged to the witch. After a season of sleepless nights,
Rudi is relieved to find out his punishment has ended. However, if he's been
forgiven, why is the village being plagued with rats?
While the mystery was
enough to convince to continue reading, it wasn't very exciting overall. The
huge time gaps were annoying and left some loose ends I would've liked addressed.
The Brixen Witch is not a book that is compelling enough to reread.
