In this cute board book, the little
baby describes all the different kinds of kisses and hugs that he/she receives from his family. At the beginning of the book the baby
tugs on his dad’s pants to get his attention. The dad hugs and tickles the babies and then the mom and dad
chase and play with the baby so they can give him kisses on his toes and
tummy. Then the baby’s aunt and
uncle come over and he gets a scratchy kiss from his uncle and squishy hug from
his aunt. The baby hugs and kisses
his pets and other family members and then the last page shows all different
types of hugs and kisses, including Eskimo kiss and bear hug.
The storyline
rhymes and each page only has a few simple words to explain the pictures. The pictures are cute and attractive
for young readers. The sweet baby
in the story has cute facial expressions and this is a fun book for little
readers.
