Gaiman, Neil Odd and the Frost Giants, 117 pgs. HarperCollins Children's Books, 2009. CHAPTER BOOK.
Content - G
Odd's father has died and his leg was shattered in an accident. When his mother remarries, Odd's new dad doesn't like having a crippled son and treats Odd poorly. That's why he decides to run away. He goes out into the woods where he discovers three talking animals--a fox, a bear, and an eagle--that will change his life.
It was a fun, short story to read. I love Odd's personality and signature smile. I enjoyed the humor and wit the characters use as well, And of course a happy ending is always nice to read.
