Legacy of Blood by Michael Ford

Ford, Michael Legacy of Blood, pgs 298. Walker & Company, 2009. Language PG (There was a b-word and the a-word); Sexual Content G; Violence PG-13. The book was based after the war with the Persians and Lysander, (the protagonist) was trying to figure out his destiny and went to a colony called Taras, because some native of that land tried to destroy them. So he went there and found out about his past and felt better about being him. But that was pretty much a really good book but it was the 3rd of the series of Spartan Quest, whose first two books were The Fire of Ares and The Birth of the Warrior. This is a great book and I would recommend this to people in middle school and up. I really liked this book, but it was really gory. I think the reason it was really gory was because it was in the past and it was the Spartans, who were the most fierce warriors in most of the past and loved war.
