Giblin, James Cross Good Brother, Bad Brother: The Story of Edwin Booth and John Wilkes Booth, 233 p. Clarion Books, 2005. $22.00. Giblin has created detailed examination of the lives of these two brothers – one who assassinated Abraham Lincoln and the other an actor, who had to spend the rest of his life picking up the pieces behind his infamous brother. There is more than enough information here for a student who needs to do an AP or IB level research paper on this topic and the information, while comprehensive, is well-written and enjoyable to read.
