As the title states, this book has three different dinosaur sections: buying, training and caring. The buying part teaches the reader how to pronounce Diplodocus and other dinosaur names and gives a few facts. Training and caring for your dinosaur is very similar to training a dog; however, million-year habits can be hard to break. The narrative is hodge-podge of facts, tips, and ideas, some quite clever, but they don’t flow together well.
