Sophie
is not going to get stuck in her run down country bumpkin town. With dreams to
go to design school in the Big Apple, Sophie starts a job with a local florist
company. As part of her job, she goes around to the different events held in
her town to bring a pop of color to the scene with her beautiful flowers.
Sophie's best friend Micah also helps out at events. Micah’s family owns a
catering business and works at all the same events as Sophie but when Micah's family business begins struggling, they take on a famous chef as a partner.
With this famous chef comes his annoying son Andrew that just might drive
Sophie bonkers. With nine events in the next year and Sophie having to see
Andrew at all of them, will they be able to get along?
I did
not love this book. The author has written better books than this and I felt
like this whole story was pulled from a Hallmark movie. I felt like the main
character was unlikable for the most part and was whiny and complained a lot.
I also felt like there were some loose ends at the ending.
