Harper has a hot new boyfriend, Logan.
He makes her weak in the knees and she can’t believe how lucky she is. Logan makes Harper want to try new things and
overcome her fears, but he seems to have a big secret. When Harper shows up at Logan’s house
unannounced she meets a cold, scary Logan look-a-like and is relieved to find
out that its Logan’s twin brother Daemon.
However, when weird things start happening around town and specifically
to Harper, she digs deeper into Logan’s past and is surprised and what she
finds.
This is a spooky, suspenseful mystery
full of twists and turns. At one point
in the story the ending becomes predictable, but overall the main character and
the minor characters are easy to like so you can’t wait to read what happens to
them. As far as interest, I think middle
school readers would love this book, but the four “F” words need to be
noted.
