This book is all
about animal feet! Each small section starts off with a mystery foot and the
question “Whose foot is this?”. When the reader turns the page, they find out,
with more information, and a page of similar feet. For example; climbers, jump,
diggers. Bright big photographs with black backgrounds help the feet to stand
out. Colorblocking and text variation provide a modern and new feel.
This is a
wonderful addition to your non-fiction section. For a storytime students will have
fun guessing what the foot belongs to. The photography is stunning. Promote
this book to your teachers for their in-class animal adaption lessons. My
favorite page is the author bio, which is a picture of his foot! Too funny!
