MS - ADVISABLE
Set on the eastern coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, Frankie considers himself normal, just normal, and that's the problem. He's so normal, it's making him sick. So he takes up skateboarding, which helps. Then he starts realizing that his color dreams give him a glimpse into the future. What should he do with this sight? As he nurses a wounded bird back to health and helps during hippotherapy sessions at a horse rink, though he is deathly afraid of horses, he realizes that not everything is as it seems, nor everyone.
With several minor characters, the story is at times choppy, but otherwise a delightful read about perceptions and growing up.
