I am not going to describe the action in Catching Fire – you will just have to read it for yourself. I had no idea how Ms. Collins was going to follow up her runaway hit Hunger Games – but the action never stops in this compelling sequel. The plot becomes more complicated, the characters increase in depth and danger becomes even more palpable. The gore of the first book is well matched here, so it is not for the squeamish!
