Quinlan McKee just found out that she is a
closer in her own life. Now that she
feels like she can’t trust her “father” or the company she works for, she turns
to her ex-boyfriend and best friend, Deacon.
But as Quin and Deacon are running away, Quin sees something on Deacon’s
phone that makes Quin not trust Deacon anymore as well. Quin decides she wants answers to who she is
and is willing to take risks to find those answers.
As the forth book in the Program series and
the sequel to The Remedy this has been my least favorite in the series so
far. Quin is a great character and I
like her loyal friends, but this story line felt more repetitive and less
climactic than the others. There are
answers to big questions and I will continue to read to find out what happens
to everyone. The swearing grates on my
nerves and the other content includes off page sex, a couple of graphic
suicides and some of the kids’ memories are used in science experiments.
