Annabeth
has been granted a quest to go into the Labyrinth and try to close the entrance
that would put Camp Half Blood in peril.
As Percy and Annabeth head on their quest they realize that the
labyrinth is more complex and confusing than they thought so they have to get a
human (Rachel) who has the sight.
Together the friends fight against monsters and old friends.
I love the Percy Jackson series, so it was
fun to revisit the story though the illustrations of this graphic novel. The pictures are bright and attractive and the
story line is captured through the text.
The violence is battle violence with blood and gore, including a man
getting his head decapitated which makes it hard to recommend to elementary
level readers, even though the books are great for that age.
