Cass has
freed her fiancé Luca from prison and is still in search of the book of the
Eternal Rose. In her attempt to find the
book, yet stay hidden from those seeking her arrest, she finds herself among courtesans
and Falco, her old love. Although Cass
has a deep love for Luca, she finds herself confused by her feelings for Falco,
and that confusion leads to problems with Luca.
Cass also faces the head of the Order of the Eternal Rose and tries to
save the women the order preys on.
This is
a fantastic ending to the Eternal Rose series.
The characters are interesting and the setting in historical Venice
pulled me in as a reader. There are
secrets, love triangles and revenge and it’s a fun fast series to get caught up
in.
