Daisy has died five times, and been brought back to life
five times through a drug that revives dead children. After her latest death, Daisy and her agent parents, Mason
and Cassie, move to Omaha where Daisy for the first time in her life has a best
friend and a boyfriend. Her best
friend is battling cancer and Daisy starts to understand what death really
looks like. While at the mall with
her friends, Daisy is seen by a girl, Nora, from her old city who thought she
was dead. Quickly after that
sighting, Daisy finds out that Nora was killed in a car accident and then
administered the drug and brought back to life. Daisy becomes concerned about this government program and
its intentions, and when she involves Mason in her concerns they find
themselves fighting for their lives.
I couldn’t put this book down.
It is written well and the character development isn’t sacrificed for
the good of the mystery. Fun
read.
