Tonight, a family sits down at a
dinner table that looks different than other nights. Why? Because they are
gathered to retell the story of Passover. The Biblical story of Moses, the
Egyptian Pharoah, the 10 plagues, and the parting of the Red Sea is then
recounted. The book concludes with a description of the food eaten during a
Passover Seder and why. While this story is a fictional account of how a Jewish
family might celebrate Passover and why, a student can learn facts about this
tradition from it. Add it to your collection if you need a book that reflects
this religious holiday.
