This rom-com includes classic tropes and references to all the best rom-coms, since Cupcake and her mom are obsessed. O’Gorman teases readers as Cupcake frequently reminds herself that she is not in one of her favorite rom-coms. The whole book has a fun, cheesy feel that is sure to make you smile. The mature content rating is for innuendo and a reference to male anatomy.
