Hannah and Emory were best friends, until a
couple of months ago, and now they don’t talk at all. Hannah lives in a deeply religious home with
two supportive parents but is starting to have feelings for her twenty-something
teacher. Emory is working for a
scholarship in drama and spends a lot of time with her boyfriend. When Emory’s boyfriend has a life-threatening
tragedy, Emory and Hannah’s paths cross again, bringing out the secret that
separated them in the first place.
I
enjoyed this story and the plot moved at a good pace, offering enough
information to keep me interested. As
well done as the story is, there is a lot of content that makes it hard to
recommend. There is off page sex, on
page sex, a sexual assault and an inappropriate relationship with a minor.
