Defines what Flanimals are in great detail. Reminiscent of a non-fiction book although flanimals are fictional creatures. This pop-up book is very interactive and even has some pull tabs to animate the creatures. This would be a good book to teach comprehension strategies. The abstract words follow a pattern that lend nicely to the concept of comprehending text.
