While Eira doesn’t love being under her prepper Dad’s thumb - especially since he is intolerant of her and her twin brother Soren’s LGBT lives, she loves playing the Giantess in the festival they attend to make the money they need to keep their homestead thriving. WHen the zombie apocalypse arrives, however, they are stuck hiding on said homestead, comfortably tucked away. When circumstances force them to flee, the twins don;t count on their younger sister also following them - and then leaving them. Now they are on a dangerous race to find and reclaim her, meeting along the way other misfits (perhaps love interests) and plenty of danger from zombies or not.
I’d buy this in paperback - I like a good zombie action book. Mac has been writing for years - mostly for Orca. I enjoyed the inclusion of LGBT characters, too.
I don’t remember anything about the ethnicities of the characters.
