Boardman explores a broad range of urban legends from the pre-modern to the meta-modern ages. While he doesn’t do any in-depth looks at any of the legends, he does try in succinct writing to give an idea of where the legends originated and how much of them can be believed. 

I loved reading the snippets - recognizing many of the legends as ones I have heard over the years - and enjoying the illustrations.
