PICTURE BOOK. $17.95. Different than any other alphabet book I have read recently, this one definitely goes beyond what is typical into zany and creative! Each letter has a poem full of alliteration specific to it coupled with illustrations that reinforce each letter. Kids will love meeting Henrietta the hare, Josie from Jupiter, and Old Ollie the Owl and the other quarky alphabet characters. The rhyming doesn't always work and some of the vocabulary is above and beyond what kids would know and even some adults.
