Random House, 2010.  $3.99.  EARLY READER (Step 3).  Be careful librarians – you will have a bunch of car-crazy kids on your hands if you buy this book.  From the very first monster truck to the races of today, this little book covers the history with lots of photographs and information at a level young readers can peruse for themselves.  EL (K-3) – ADVISABLE.
