I love the Great British Baking Show and David was a charmer on the show. I also really like baking books for kids. That said, this is an intimidating book! David starts right off with bread - raised bread, shaped bread, filled bread, decorated bread and it doesn’t get much easier from there. All of the pages are illustrated with drawings - no photos and each recipe fits on two pages. He has three other cookbooks for kids, so they must sell well. You might buy this as a visual treat, I am not sure how much will actually be baked from it. Our maybe that’s just my adult perspective talking. FYI - the ingredients and measurements have been translated for the American audience.
