Kate, Gabby,
Lainey, and Mia have all been to Never Land a few times now. But this time its
foggy and none of the fairies know why. As they try to find out, Katie goes off
on her own. She finds a horse and rides it. Turns out the Mist Horses might be
dangerous, can the other girls and special water fairy named Silvermist, find
her in time?
This is a very
sweet series that invites girls into the mostly boys world of Never Land. I
have students who just love this series. But I just don’t feel like the main
characters come to life for me. Everything feels very generic, verging on
sweet. If you need a bit of a wholesome escape for 2-3 grade readers, this
might be a good series for your library.
