Markle has done it again.
Adding to her other books about saving endangered species, she hits
another homerun with this book about penguins nesting on the coasts of South
Africa. Her writing is strong and clear,
easy enough for a fourth grader, but detailed enough for a seventh grader. The entire series is a great supplement to
the Scientists in the Field series from Houghton Mifflin.
