A sweet book about flower gardening featuring a beautiful biracial family.  The mom and the daughter plant the bulbs in the dirt in the fall.  Then time passes: holidays, vacations, happiness, and sadness.  Meanwhile the bulbs grew little by little, like love.  In the spring, all of the flowers bloom.  

The illustrations are perfectly paired with the story and feel light and bright.  This story would be a great book for a gardening storytime.
