This book shows the time between the sun
going down and the night coming. A time
the author calls the blue hour when the sky and earth are all different shades
of blue. The animals get ready to settle
in for the night and the sky gradually gets darker as the book comes to an
end.
The illustrations in this book are
magical. My son kept petting the pages because
the drawings have so much texture. There
are only 1-2 sentences per page and the text reads like a poem.
