When he was 8 years old, his father died. He doesn’t remember much about his death. Now, on his 12th birthday, Al Chaudhry gets a letter from his father that tells him to travel back in time to save him from a go kart accident. Unfortunately, the time machine is at their old house and he has one week from the time of the note to travel back in time. Will Al figure out how to save his father? Will he find a way to get into his father’s lab beneath their old house?

This time travel adventure is filled with adventure, mystery, and engaging characters. The plot is well developed and draws the reader easily into Al’s world. The science fiction clichés add a level of humor and entertainment to the text. Fans of science fiction, adventure, and time travel will enjoy reading this book.
