The Hole Story by Paul Bright– NO

Bright, Paul The Hole Story PICTURE BOOK.  Anderson Press, 2017.  $16.99.  Content: G.
Two holes have to leave their piece of swiss cheese. They find themselves at a royal palace and cause all kinds of mischief from holes in socks to pitchers to underwear. Will they ever find a home will they be useful and not cause problems for everyone? Big bright illustrations.
This is a strange story and it seems a bit disjointed. It would be would be a more engaging read for children if there were objects and the students could guess if the hole on that object would be a good thing or a bad thing. That would help to get the readers involved and thinking about holes in a new way. In this story version things get a bit muddled, like when the princess crashes into the compost heap.
