I think this could book could have easily been much shorter, the plot is quite drawn out with long pauses and circular mini-plots. If it were shorter it would be more accessible to those younger grade readers who would enjoy the simple characters and their junk food obsession. Older readers who this format and size would appeal to, even lower level readers, would be bored by the plotline. I thoroughly did not enjoy reading this book.EL(K-3), EL –OPTIONAL Reviewer: Stephanie Elementary School Librarian & Author.
