Magic Monsters from Witches to Goblins (Monster Mania Series) by Katie Marsico –NO

Marsico, Katie Magic Monsters from Witches to Goblins (Monster Mania Series)   NON-FICTION.  Lerner, 2017.  $24.99.  Content: G.
This book features historical and modern day  references to Witches and Goblins, branching out into many variations of these creatures like skinwalkers, jinn, and more. It features lots of movie references and imagery, including drawings, photographs, and stills from movies.
I found this book to be flat out confusing and disorganized. Though its divided into chapters, its just felt like a jumbled up large amount of information. It would have read a lot better if there was a chapter on witches and a separate chapter on Goblins, with chronological historical then modern day references. Then maybe a final chapter on real versus make believe. As books from this publisher are expensive, I can’t recommend this book to a school library with limited funding. Just choose a mythical monster or creature book instead.
