This graphic novel contains about 15 separate short comics
representing the various TV shows on Nickelodeon. Many of them rely on crass
humor and violence for laughs and like many TV cartoon reference things only
grown ups will get. The illustrations vary but students will recognize them
from the cartoons.
I hardly ever like comics by Papercutz and this is no exception.
A student may like this as a gift if they watch a lot of TV, but I didn’t find
the humor that funny (and I don’t mind some potty humor –see Otis Dooda books).
It just seems junky and low quality.
