Ahsoka by E.K. Johnston - ESSENTIAL

Johnston, E.K. Ahsoka (Star Wars), 353 pages.  Disney, 2016.  $18.  Language: G; Mature Content: G; Violence: PG (like the movies).

Ahsoka thought she had escaped and left her life as Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan behind her, but one one actually escapes the Empire.  She may be the last light side Jedi, albeit she is not a full-fledged Jedi, left in the galaxy after the Empire hunted down the others and destroyed them.  She barely escapes one Empire trap, and tries to settle on the smallest, most obscure planet on the Outer Rim.  But, Ahoska’s presence will only bring danger to the farming planet – it can’t be a coincidence that the Empire means to strip this particular planet clean and leave it barren forever.  Will Ahoska flee again or will she finally make a stand?

Disney is printing so many great Star Wars based books!  I am having a great time learning the new canon.  This does not disappoint.
