Online Safety for Coders (Kids Get Coding Series) by Heather Lyons and Elizabeth Tweedale -OPTIONAL

Lyons, Heather and Elizabeth Tweedale Online Safety for Coders (Kids Get Coding Series), Illustrated by Westgate, Alex. 24pgs, Lerner 2016. $19.99. Content: G
This book gives provides information about online safety that would be applicable to any student internet user. It goes over what information to keep private, digital identities, passwords, and sharing online. There are activities and fun facts. The illustrations are bright, blocky, and basic.
The big problem I have with this book is that students would pick it up who wanted to learn coding and there really isn’t anything about coding inside. It just wasn’t that specific to coders, not at all in fact. I wouldn’t buy this book for just that reason. If this book was marketing and titled to be online safety tips, that would be much better, especially since the information and the presentation is great.
