Lions Lessons by Jon Agee –OPTIONAL

Agee, Jon Lions Lessons Dial (Penguins), 2016.  $17.99.  PICTURE BOOK
A little boy goes into a shop for lion lessons, turns out the lessons are from a real lion. The boy gets a costume and they get to work. Will the little boy ever become a successful lion?
I liked the story at first, but the big climax is that the little boy lion passes his big test by jumping on the back of a pet dog that is chasing a cat. I kind of don't dig that, poor dogs have to put up with enough from kids. There doesn't seem to be much more to the book than that. Some misinformation as well about what lions eat. The illustrations are just ok, kind of look quickly done.
